Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 3, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information SquishyMax ("we," "us," or "our") collects when you use squishymax.com (the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep this simple on purpose: we collect as little as we can, and we don't sell your personal information.
1. Information we collect
- Waitlist signups. If you join the waitlist, we collect your email address and, if you choose to share it, your collector level.
- Account information. When accounts launch, signing in with Google will share your name, email address, and profile picture with us, which we use to create and operate your account.
- Content you share. Collection photos, listings, videos, posts, and profile details you choose to publish on the Service.
- Technical data. Like most websites, our hosting providers automatically log basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, which we use for security and to keep the Service running.
2. How we use information
- To operate the Service — profiles, the marketplace, videos, and community features.
- To email you about your waitlist spot, launch, and important account or transaction updates.
- To keep the Service safe: preventing fraud, enforcing the Pristine Rules, and moderating the community.
- To understand, in aggregate, how the Service is used so we can improve it.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising.
3. Where your data lives
Our website is hosted on Vercel, and our data (including waitlist signups and, later, account content) is stored with Supabase on infrastructure located in the United States. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.
4. Public content
SquishyMax is a community. Collections, listings, videos, posts, and profile details you publish are visible to other visitors — that's the point! Please don't include personal information (like your address or phone number) in public content.
5. Cookies
We use only the cookies and local storage needed to run the Service, such as keeping you signed in once accounts launch. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
6. Your choices and rights
- Waitlist. Want off the list? Email us and we'll delete your signup.
- Account data. Once accounts launch, you'll be able to edit or delete your content and delete your account entirely.
- Access and deletion. You can request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing us. Depending on where you live (for example, the EU/EEA, UK, or California), you may have additional rights under local law, and we will honor them.
7. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will post the updated version here with a new effective date.
