One quiet evening, Pip the pink axolotl, Momo the sleepy sloth, and Bramble the little fox sat on the shelf watching the stars peek out. Pip yawned a giant yawn. "I wish we could visit the clouds," she whispered.
Just then a soft breeze wiggled through the window. Whoosh! A fluffy cloud drifted right up to the shelf like a floaty pillow boat. Bramble hopped on first, then helped Momo climb aboard nice and slow. Up, up, up they floated, giggling the whole way.
Up in the sky, everything was marshmallow soft. They bounced on cloud trampolines and painted the sunset with cozy colors. Momo found a cloud shaped like a pancake and pretended to nibble it. Pip made a wish on the biggest twinkly star.
When the moon smiled, the cloud gently carried them home. They snuggled back on the shelf, warm and happy. "Best adventure ever," Momo mumbled, already half asleep. Pip agreed with a tiny sleepy squeak. Sweet dreams, little squad. Maybe tomorrow the clouds will visit again.
