  2. No holes, no rips, no stains. Damaged squish doesn't belong on the marketplace - it gets sent right back to the seller.
  3. Checked on arrival. Anything short of pristine goes back, and the buyer gets their money back.

🧼 How to wash a Squishmallow (the right way)

“Freshly washed” is rule one, so here's exactly how to do it without hurting the squish. Grab a grown-up for the machine steps.

  1. Start with spot cleaning. It's what the manufacturer recommends. Dab the spot with a damp cloth and a little dish soap or gentle stain remover, let it sit about five minutes, then rinse the area with a clean damp cloth.
  2. Machine wash for a full clean. Zip the plush inside a zippered pillowcase or mesh laundry bag so the fabric can't snag. Delicate cycle, cold water, gentle detergent, and toss in a few towels to balance the load.
  3. Dry with zero heat. Tumble dry on air-fluff (no heat) with clean towels or dryer balls to re-fluff the filling. Heat can melt the delicate fabric, so when in doubt, air dry.
  4. Finish in fresh air. Let it rest somewhere sunny and well-ventilated until it's completely dry inside. Squeeze test: no cool damp spots means it's ready to ship or shelf.

Fully dry before boxing - a damp squish in a sealed box is how odors happen, and odors fail the Pristine Rules.
